Rael Baird | Chair
Rael is currently a Sophomore in the School of Foreign Service, intending to major in International Politics with a concentration in Foreign Policy. Born here in DC, he was raised in Los Angeles and Hong Kong. He is interested in studying the growth of Chinese authoritarian influence, both domestically and in foreign policy. Rael enjoys playing for the Georgetown Rugby team, travelling, and playing piano.
Kathy Zhuo | Chair
Originally from San Diego, California, Kathy Zhuo is a sophomore in the School of Foreign Service majoring in Global Business with a minor in International Development. She is particularly interested in international trade and human rights. Outside of the Walsh Exchange, Kathy is a tutor for Hoyas Inspire Language Learning and spends her free time swimming or drinking boba. She looks forward to the different research topics that will be presented at the Walsh Exchange this year.
Olivia Chuang | Director of Communications
Born in Virginia and raised on the little island of Singapore, Olivia Chuang is a freshmen in Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. This is her first year working with the team, and she will be working as the Director of Marketing and Research. Outside of the Walsh Exchange, she’s a marketing and social media lead for TEDxGeorgetown, a committee member on the International Relations Club’s Communications Sub-Board, a staff photographer for The Hoya, and an avid runner on the Georgetown Running Club. In her free time she enjoys learning new songs on the guitar, journaling, and meeting new people.

Yichu Huang | Director of Finance
Yichu is currently a freshman in the School of Foreign Service intending to major in International Economics. She is from Beijing but has lived in Stavanger, Norway before for 4 years. Her interests include international diplomacy and development economics. Outside of the Walsh Exchange, she is also a photographer for The Hoya. Yichu enjoys playing the piano, visiting art exhibitions, and exploring DC.
