Letter from the Chair
Welcome to the 10th Annual Walsh Exchange, the nation’s premier undergraduate research conference in international relations, offering the brightest students across the US and the rest of the world the opportunity to present their original research in front of leading scholars and professionals.
Sponsored by the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, the Walsh Exchange invites a select group of undergraduates to showcase their original research in foreign policy, international security, human rights, international economics, diplomacy, business, and other topics related to international relations. Invited scholars also receive the opportunity to network with their peers from around the world, receive constructive feedback from panel moderators who are leading experts in academia and industry, and engage with embassies, think tanks, and government agencies located in the heart of the nation’s capital.
On behalf of the Steering Committee and the School of Foreign Service, we cordially invite you to apply to present your original research at the Tenth Annual Walsh Exchange, which will be held online on April 9th and 10th, 2021. For more information regarding the Walsh Exchange, the application process, or upcoming schedules, please do not hesitate to contact us at walshex@gmail.com.
